The stair nosing provides an anti-slip surface at the front corner of the tread, which improves stair safety and reduces the risk of injury as well as liability, in the case of an accident due to a slip or fall. Stair nosings can be incorporated into safety grating stair treads, as well as traditional stair tread and stairpan designs.
