Carrier angles are a stairpan and stair tread support used in the construction of steel staircases. They’re welded or bolted to the inside of a steel stringer channel and the underside of stairpans and treads.

Carrier angles are provided in pre-formed angle or structural steel.

Stocked carrier angles are fabricated from prime 12 gauge sheet metal and are formed to the same pitch as the stair pan, eliminating the need for adjustments on site.
