How to Build Cement Steps
Now that you have high quality steel forms for your poured concrete stairs delivered to your job site, the stair assembly can begin. Your contractor will weld the metal pan stairs into place between two steel stair stringers, ensuring everything is level and plumb. Carrier angles may be installed first, to assist with this process.
Once all of your pans are installed they can be cleaned and prepped for concrete. The concrete can then be field poured into each individual tread and finished in place. Once it cures and hardens, your slip-resistant concrete stairs are ready for use.
